Keynotes

Keynotes are primarily for large groups of 100 or more. They are mostly an hour long and are meant to equip, encourage, and empower the listeners to take action through reflection and rejuvenation.

KEYNOTE 1

Tips and Tricks for Delivering the Best Read Alouds

Confronting the bad teachers, while motivating the great ones. This keynote is funny, inspiring, and challenging. An interactive message that will leave teachers motivated to rid the profession of bad practices by filling it with the best ones! A great one for a midyear conference! Also, I may be dressed as a squirrel for this! 🙂

KEYNOTE 2

You All Get An F

Sometimes educators need reminding why we do what we do. It is not just about grades, tests, homework. There’s so much more to the profession beyond the busyness of paperwork and meetings. Real teachers, who fully understand the depth of their work, get it. They know this and move mountains for their students. I know this, because many of mine did for me. Hear the story of their love for me, their passion for their work, and their impact on my life as a student and educator. Finally, I got to grade them like they did me all those years. Listen carefully as I explain why they all got an F. Great message for morale boost. Any time of the year speech! Top rated and most requested!

KEYNOTE 3

The Power of Play for ALL Ages

Do you want your students to connect with each other as a team? Do you want your learning space to encourage collaboration? Does your teaching create learners who are risk takers? Do you want your students to build up one another? If you answered yes to any of these questions, join me for this keynote where we will dive head first into the deep end of social emotional learning that a playful classroom can provide. We will discuss tips and tricks, review resources, and practice our own bit of community building as we learn about the power of play for ALL ages.

KEYNOTE 4

Metamorphosis

We all grow and transform in the profession. Some of us go through this cycle of growth and change multiple times. The end goal… we all need to fly! Great beginning or end of the year message.

KEYNOTE 5

Exceptional

Teachers are exceptional. In this keynote we will sing, dance, and reflect on just how awesome we are. Great for a teacher morale boost!

KEYNOTE 6

S.P.A.R.K.L.E.

Teachers need to sparkle and shine all year long. What does it mean to sparkle? This keynote will show you just that. There may be some fancy sparkly wings during this engaging experience! Great anytime of the year!
